our CKC Mushing Sponsorship Application
The CKC Dog Sledding Sponsorship Program has been very successful. What began in 2006 as a way of promoting dog sledding as a sport and promoting purebred teams participating in sledding events has become a real achievement for both CKC and the participants in mushing events across the United States. We are pleased to announce that we have had numerous applications submitted from participants eager to receive sponsorship monies for this program. All winners have been chosen for the 2009-2010 season, but those of you interested in receiving sponsorship for the 2010-2011 season have plenty of time to fill out and submit an application. Download the CKC Mushing Sponsorship Application with the requirements for sponsorship.
Congratulations to the following people who received sponsorship for the 2009-2010 season: Lanette Kimball, Taylor Berge (Junior), Tabetha Berge, Vicky Massey, Hugo Antonucci, Lindsey Owen, Kayla Corcoran, Steve Riggs, Danny Corcoran, Seth Monroe, Heather Monroe, Wendy Arotta, Josi Thyr (Junior).
All applications for the 2010-2011 CKC Mushing Sponsorship are due September 1, 2010.
We will determine and weight each application on the following criteria:

- Number of purebred dogs on the team
- Essay discussing your training practices and the philosophy behind your training, why you should receive the sponsorship money, and your goals for this coming season in both training and racing
- Past race placements
Requirements for applying for sponsorship:
